COOKIES POLICY
Directive 2002/58 e-Privacy Directive
EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation
The website www.flaviavalentini.com uses " cookies ": these are text files that are sent from a web server (i.e. the computer that "hosts" the website visited) to the user's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and stored on the device, fixed or mobile, used for navigation by the User. The cookie allows the Site to identify the User's device, through the information stored in it, every time the same reconnects to the Site through that device.
Through the use of cookies it is possible to make it easier for Users to navigate the Site, as well as - after obtaining appropriate consent - analyse their preferences and tastes by verifying their navigation and consequently offer a promotion of products and services that are more consistent with the interests and expectations of the User.
The data controllers of the personal data collected through the cookies present on the Site, each within the limits of the processing actually carried out, are the following:
FLAVIA VALENTINI, with registered office in Via Oderisi da Gubbio, 13, Rome (RM), 00146, CF and VAT number 14664031003, Tel. +39 06 87729766, E-mail info@flaviavalentini.com PEC flavia.valentini@unapec.it;
Cookies do not collect information that directly identifies the User. The Companies cannot trace any directly identifying personal information (e.g. name, surname) through cookies unless provided directly by the User.
1. What types of cookies does the Site use?
Cookies are not all the same and are distinguished based on:
duration: cookies can be "session" (when they are stored exclusively for the duration of the browsing session on the Site and are deleted when the browser is closed), or "permanent" (they are stored for a longer period of time, until they expire or until they are deleted by the User);
to the subject who installs them on the User's terminal (cookies can be installed by the site manager, or by a third party); and
to their purpose.
Technical cookies
These are cookies used to ensure navigation and therefore the electronic transmission of data on the network or strictly necessary for the provision of the services provided by the Site. These cookies are usually temporary, so-called "session cookies", and are released by the Site on the User's computer during navigation, but are stored exclusively for the duration of the navigation session itself. This means that when the User closes his browser, the cookies are automatically deleted and disappear, without remaining stored on the computer. They are made up of random numbers generated by the server and are used to allow safe and efficient exploration of the Site.
Through the use of such cookies, we can facilitate the User's navigation within the Site, for example by remembering the data provided by the User when filling out forms on the Site (so-called user input cookies), to recognize the User after he/she has logged in to the Site (so-called authentication cookies), to customize the site interface based on the preferences indicated by the User, to collect information in aggregate form regarding the number of visitors to the site and the most visited pages (so-called analytics cookies used with partial IP obscuring mechanisms), etc.
These cookies do not require the acquisition of prior and express consent from the User as they are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the User of the Site.
Analytics cookies
These are cookies used for statistical analysis relating to the use of the Site and to monitor its correct functioning. Where they are used by adopting partial IP obscuring mechanisms, they are similar to technical cookies; otherwise, the use of such cookies requires the express and informed consent of the User.
The system used is Google Analytics, the latter is a web analysis service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics, like other systems, uses cookies to allow the website to analyze how Users use the Site.
Profiling cookies
These are cookies used to create profiles relating to the User, for example, in order to send advertising messages consistent with the preferences of the User: except as provided in paragraph 3 below, these cookies are released by the Site on the User's computer during navigation and are stored even beyond the duration of the navigation session itself, until their expiry or until cancellation by the User (so-called "permanent cookies"). These cookies also allow us to offer you our commercial proposal on other affiliated websites (so-called retargeting). This category also includes social network cookies, which allow the User's social accounts to interact with the Site (e.g. by sharing content with other people or disclosing their opinion on the content).
The use of such cookies requires the express and informed consent of the User.
Tracking pixels
The Site also uses tracking pixels (also called "1x1 pixel" or "pixel tags"), graphic elements measuring 1x1 pixel, which are installed when a User visits the Site or opens one of the emails sent by FLAVIA VALENTINI.
Each time the User visits the Site, the tracking pixel transmits limited information to the relevant server, including the User's IP address. This tool is used only for statistical purposes, therefore the Companies do not have access to any information relating to individual Users. The information collected through the tracking pixels is aimed at carrying out statistical analyses relating to (i) the number of Users who use the Site, (ii) the number and type of pages visited, as well as (iii) the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
Disabling cookies does not automatically block information transmitted via tracking pixels, however the User can prevent the sending of such information through the settings of his/her browser, by modifying the settings of his/her firewall or by using specific browser expansions.
Please note that consent will be requested only upon first access to the Site: subsequently, thanks to the use of a technical cookie, we will store the consent to allow direct access to the pages of the Site (the User retains the right to deactivate/activate cookies at any time or to delete them, see point 6.2: in this case, upon your return, the Site will request consent again).
Furthermore, if the User provides his/her specific consent to the analysis of his/her preferences during registration, the data relating to navigation within the Site may be associated with his/her personal data.
2. Information on cookies released by the Site
Regarding the cookies used on the Site we provide the following information:
1) The domain name from which the Site server transmits cookies is: www.flaviavalentini.com
2) Purpose of the collection : cookies are used to (i) allow easier and faster navigation within the Site or to perform statistical and anonymous analyses/checks on its use (technical cookies); (ii) improve the browsing experience, analyzing the preferences of Users (e.g. pages visited, products selected, etc.) and suggesting the best products and promotions based on the navigation carried out (profiling cookies).
3) Collected data : the following information is stored: the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the User's IT environment.
From a technical point of view, the cookies (transmitted by the domain flaviavalentini.com) contain the following information: a numeric ID that uniquely identifies FLAVIA VALENTINI and a numeric ID that identifies the User (who browses the Site), both stored in our database; a numeric ID that uniquely identifies the navigation (so-called "record") of the User in our database; a pseudo-random alphanumeric session ID that is automatically deleted by the browser when it is closed (session cookie).
4) Validity of cookies : the Site uses session cookies (i.e. cookies that are automatically deleted when the browser is closed), as well as permanent cookies (i.e. cookies that are stored until deleted by the User), the duration of which in any case does not exceed six months.
5) Requirement to accept cookies : acceptance of cookies is not mandatory; however, we point out that the deactivation of technical cookies, although it allows navigation within the Site, may not make it possible to release some content and features of the Site.
6) Data communication: the information collected through cookies is confidential and is not communicated to third parties.
3. Third-party cookies
The Site uses third-party cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Social Network cookies, geolocalization cookies), i.e. cookies that are issued and managed by parties other than the Companies. The Companies do not have the possibility of exercising any control over third-party cookies and have not accessed the data collected through such cookies: the related information and consent obligations therefore fall on the third parties, who typically act as independent data controllers of the data collected through the cookies installed by them. The User must therefore refer to the personal data processing policies, information and consent forms provided by such third parties.
In order to allow you to make a free and informed choice, we provide below an indication regarding (i) the type and identifier of cookies, (ii) the characteristics and purposes of cookies, as well as the link to the detailed information relating to such cookies:
