Rome is the city where Flavia was born and raised. The passion for Fashion and Art has deep roots since she was a child. Passionate about art books in the family home, acquiring a strong natural sense for art and aesthetic creativity, which was later developed with studies at the artistic high school of architecture in Rome and the degree in Fashion Design at the University of Florence, obtaining an “Excellence in Making Design and Vintage” award.
After graduating, Flavia developed a strong interest in oriental culture perfected by attending a postgraduate specialization in culture and fashion in China, at the Wuhan University Fashion Center (湖北美术学院) where she obtained her stage name Chinese: 张俪雅 – designated for her by Zhang Liya, a very renowned painting master and artist in China.
In China, Flavia also participated in activities around Asia studying the cultures and traditional customs of Chinese ethnic minorities and the artistic technique of Batik fabrics. Participated in China Phoenix Culture Festival of Clothing 2015 and Beijing Fashion Week in connection with Hubei University of Fashion Deparment (HIFA).
Flavia has made frequent trips abroad for the personal research phase for the start-up and development of various projects. Obtaining with these experiences further cultural enrichment and international sensitivity.
